I have been in the beauty industry for over 20 years, initially qualifying as a beauty therapist. I have worked in various salons, massage centres and luxury spas and currently, on occasion, I work at a 5* resort.

I have moved away from beauty treatments in recent years and have been putting my energy into more holistic therapy, advocating the power of touch as being extremely beneficial not only in treating and soothing physical ailments but also to aid in the healing process of emotional distress.

I have always been intrigued by the connections within our bodies and fell in love with and trained in reflexology, qualifying with a distinction. From personal experience of receiving it, I know how wonderful it is not only in easing physical symptoms but in realising emotional blockages too.

Further to this, I have recently trained in the Face-Up method, which is so much more than a facial. It’s a structured method working through fascia, posture, breath and the nervous system. It’s face sculpting which includes lymphatic drainage, a reduction in tension and aids in releasing emotional imprints.

Everyone is unique and can and will have varying niggles on different days too, that is why I like to combine techniques within my massage treatments, providing a de-stressing treatment for one person, maybe about keeping a lighter or medium pressure, while more deep tissue techniques may be required for another person.
